Mud Festival at Boryeong

Boryeong mud festival.

It is an annual festival which takes place during the summer in Boryeong, a town around 200 km south of Seoul.The mud is taken from the Boryeong mud flats to the Daecheon beach area .The mud is said to be rich in minerals and used to make cosmetics.

Thousands of people visit the festival every year. Many cultural events including covering the body with coloured mud is one of the prime attractions.

Kidzania. A must visit place for family with kids.

Rupa's Visit to Korea

On July 2011 my childhood friend Rupa came to visit us with her family. It started with a casual chat and things got cooked up so beautifully that finally she came to stay with me for 15 days. 

Being a long lost friend we both were excited to meet.

                                       At everland , Rupa wanted to ride the roller coaster Texpress ,one of the steepest roller coasters with 77 degrees vertical angle.

                                                     

                                         

Overall we had a great time going around , having fun  and bringing back all the memories of our childhood friendship.
